I’ve noticed there’s a lot more activity in the local parks and preserves now then just a few weeks ago. The onset of spring and the beautiful weather are bringing people outdoors. During the winter time it often seemed that I had whole parks and preserves just to myself, and well sometimes that was kind of scary.
Yesterday I took a short hike in Santa Teresa County Park and was fortunate to encounter not only several humans on mountain bikes, but several creatures along the way. An added bonus was that the hills were green and the wild flowers blooming. Below are some of the images I captured. Click on the image to view it in my South Bay outdoors gallery on Smugmug. Spring is here and it’s time to get out on the trails. Hope to see you there!
